Miss Kathy Holcomb, Principal of St. Mary's School since 1997, was born in Fremont, Ohio and raised in Helena, Ohio.  She graduated from Gibsonburg High School and went on to Bowling Green State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and then received her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.

Miss Holcomb taught in public schools for two years before taking a teaching position at St. Joseph Elementary School in Fremont, where she remained a teacher there for 19 years before coming to St. Mary's.  Miss Holcomb was also an assistant Cross Country Coach at St. Joseph Central Catholic for 12 years.

St. Mary's Catholic School is located in the small community of Clyde, Ohio.  It is the home of Whirlpool Corporation.  We accept students from the rural area as well as from small surrounding communities such as Green Springs.

We offer a quality Roman Catholic/Christian education for a reasonable price.  Tuition is set as one price for Catholic and non-Catholic families.  Tuition assistance is possible.

We are a fully accredited K-8 school by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.  Students are taught by a certified and devoted teaching staff.  Our low teacher-to-student ratio means that children receive much individualized assistance.  The teaching staff is dedicated to using Innovative Educator techniques in forming positive peer influence and creating a moral, value-based, religious educational experience.  It is the responsibility of St. Mary's School to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children.
