Students in the upper grades assist with Market Day each month by helping to unload the truck of all items ordered.  Then, boxes are opened and sorted according to the type of item.  Once all items are sorted and accounted for, students and volunteers begin to package customer orders and prepare for pickup.  All of this is done in about an hour!!

St. Mary's has also added the "Our Family Brand" Labels for Learning.  The program offers  $.05 for each label containing the product's UPC code turned into St. Mary's.  Look for these brands at local grocery stores!

What are SCRIP CERTIFICATES?  When you purchase scrip certificates through St. Mary's School, you are purchasing gift cards that are used just like cash. The gift cards are from stores and restaurants your family already frequents. By purchasing your everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials with SCRIP, you are earning revenue for St. Mary's.  SCRIP is redeemed at the issuing store as though it is cash.

St. Mary's purchases the SCRIP certificates (gift cards) at a discount and re-sells the cards to you at face value.  The savings from the discount are kept by St. Mary's and used to support the many school programs that are available for your student. Each retailer gives a certain discount off the face value to St. Mary's.
