It was a beautiful day for the Blessing of the Animals on St. Francis Day - October 4, 2007 for Clyde St. Mary's Students.  Pastor, Father Dennis Schroeder blessed the pets of the school children, parishioners and neighbors on the gloomy afternoon.  The spirits were high as students brought their unique animals to school.  Some of the pets included a horse, various cats and dogs, and many stuffed pets - including a large snake!  The yearly blessing is something the students look forward to.
